New Members Always Welcome
Although we had an excellent open day last year and gained a number of new members, we will always welcome new and experienced bowlers if you would like to join us. We are a thriving and very successful club in the heart of Reading. We have two men's teams in the Kennet League (the 'A' team are Division 1 East champions) and one team in the over-60's league. The ladies have one team in the Thames Valley league and won promotion to Division 1 at the end of last season. Just take a look at our fixtures to see how busy we are in the summer! There are normally a number of people on the green or relaxing at the bar on Monday and Friday evenings so why not pop in and say hello - you'll be made very welcome.
During the closed season (roughly mid-September to mid-April) we occasionally meet for a walk and a pub lunch and have monthly special event evenings at Kendrick Road. Winter Friday nights you'll find us in the bar having a good old natter and a fish supper - why not pop in and join us we'd love to see you!
